has long since passed
the tears from my heart
create an ocean, vast

the sorrow cannot compare
than that of a heartbreak
for i have learned this lesson
and tears i can no longer make

My black rose lays perfect
on the white sheen of satin

on my tombstone in Latin

Lilac's scent no longer entices
Early strawberries taste not found
Velvet blooms lost their softness
Senses frozen in winter ground

Need love once more to waken
Nature's beauty all around
Filling souls again with warmth
